I heard somewhere (in an elevator) and many other places, that 2014 is going to be the best year ever…

For Money, Health, medical break throughs, great new ideas to help heal our planet, a new year for communities working together. In some realms they say we’re coming into “The Age of Enlightenment and Peace”…Are they talking about planet Earth? I sure hope so.

With the fall of cities like Detroit, brings new innovative ideas on how to build a better more efficient working community. The people who are left in the city are picking up the pieces and putting them together in a new and old-fashioned way. The ideas and energy from people who can’t afford to move, like many of their neighbors, just sprung them into a new way of thinking. These people have revitalized their thoughts, visions,  and are applying their man and woman power into reality, and that energy is creating a new life for their communities!

There’s a writing contest called “Write a House” founded by Toby Barlow who grew up in a writers colony in the Adirondack Mountains, being familiar with writers clubs he brought this contest to Detroit. It’s a new carrot and stick idea, which Detroit and many other cities could use to bring creative, productive people back to these fallen neighborhoods. If chosen, the winner will be able to live (rent free) in a Detroit house for two years. After becoming a part of the neighborhood, mingling their artistic energies and raising hope for the future (and keeping up the yard and house of course) the house will be given to the writer free and clear. This is just one of the great ideas people are coming up with…ONWARD Toby!

Back to tradition, the simpler ways  have always worked, combining the new and the old ideas with the young and old-er people, with that combination we get wisdom and strength, creating a new beginning where there was thought only to be an end.

A new world energy comes from the people’s visions, beliefs, hope and can’t forget hard WORK! We must keep in mind that we all reside in the same neighborhood (PLANET EARTH) . WE can change the old ways of thinking, lack and hate for abundance and love…We bring in the new Energy, it’s up to each one of us…Lets do this!

Think of a new innovative way to bring light to your neighborhood, even if it sounds crazy as long as the motive is true it will work and people will jump on board, it will become a snowball… yes in hell, we have a chance. Happy New Year!

Tis’ the season…For Cleansing the Gallbladder

, , , , , , ,

MMm...can turn to OUCH!

MMm…can turn to OUCH!

Spring and Fall are the times when gallbladders act up the most. Of course anytime you’ve been over doin’ it with greasy fried foods, alcohol, stress and or processed foods… can trigger an attack.

WHY? Like your basement and garage you’ve accumulated to much S…T! And it’s time to purge…so we give the garage/basement an enema of sorts. Now, you don’t not have to cook up your favorite brew just yet, we can start cleansing with natural remedies…a gentler way to  cleanse. Let’s begin with the “fun” symptoms (I know from experience )

  • After eating, pain under ribs upper right side (gallbladder lives here) OUCH!
  • Pain may radiate through to the back or to the right shoulder
  • cranky…you hate everyone including self!
  • Severe upper abdominal pain (biliary colic)
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Burping or belching
  • stools light or chalky colored
  • Attacks are often at night
  • Pain may be worse with deep inhalation
  • Attacks can last from 15 minutes to 15 hours

Don’t let doctors cut out your much needed GALLBLADDER Your gallbladder isn’t just a throw away organ. It does a very big job, making bile to help your body process fats. We need fats (good fats, olive oil, coconut oil)  to help us look young and have a healthy, SMART brain (fat head). Without it you will gain weight and you could still have painful symptoms…keep ALL body parts (note to self).

Fast Pain Relief from a Gallbladder Attack Naturally  Drink 1/4 a cup of apple cider vinegar. If possible, also chase it with 8 ounces of apple juice (preferably organic), or mix both together. Most of the pain should disappear within 15 minutes.

Prevention and Treatment of Gallstones The following natural protocol helps to correct liver dysfunction, in addition to helping combat gallstones (liver stones). It will holistically improve a person’s overall health too.  Several of the recommendations target cholesterol, because stones are often made of cholesterol.

  • Reduce fat intake overall, especially unnatural and toxic fats like hydrogenated oils, soy and canola Natural fats (like butter) are better, but they should be used in moderation nonetheless.
  • Omega-3 supplementation is recommended by way of flax seed oil capsules.
  • Niacin (Vitamin B3) is helpful for people with cholesterol or skin problems.
  • Red yeast rice reduces cholesterol, and its active compound is used to make pharmaceutical drugs for cholesterol. This has the benefits of the drugs, without the dangers, addictions, or expense.
  • Sunlight exposure converts the excess cholesterol reserves stored inside skin into vitamin D-2, which is later used by the liver to make vitamin D-3. Therefore, sunlight helps in multiple ways. It dramatically boosts the immune system.
  • Exercise. No explanation should be required.
  • Milk thistle is a liver tonic.
  • Dandelion root
  • Avoid soy lecithin and all soy products. Soy products can have disastrous effects upon hormone balance, and this is especially true for women. The phytoestrogens inside soy products attack the thyroid. The presence of gallstones has been shown to have a relationship with hormone imbalances. Also, be advised that all soy is now genetically engineered.
  • Vitamin C makes cholesterol more water soluble, allowing a body to better eliminate excesses.
  • Turmeric increases the solubility of bile.
  • Consume apple cider vinegar, lemonade, or apple juice regularly. Supplementing with several tablespoons of apple cider vinegar per day is best.
  • Castor oil transdermal packs neutralize inflammation. A rag must be soaked in pure, cold pressed castor oil that is obtained from a health food store beforehand. The excess should be squeezed-out just prior to use. Next the rag should be placed on bare skin over the organ. Put a piece of plastic on top of the rag. Then place a hot water bottle on top of that. The hot water bottle should be made as hot as possible, so long as the patient can tolerate it. This transdermal system should remain in place for a minimum of 30 minutes, and doing this daily will benefit most patients. It is also recommended that the immediate area underneath the patient be covered in plastic too, because some of the castor oil will run down onto furniture or floors.
  • Licorice is another liver tonic.

Hey, be good to your body…where else ya gonna live?

Ulcers…Weight Gain and Loss

Are you hungry all of the time, do you have acid reflux, bloating? Don’t  forget that awful gnawing in your gut…SOUNDS like you may have an ulcer.

Ravenous Appetite and also weight loss are  common symptoms of ulcers. Other symptoms which may occur include recurrent vomiting, black stool, blood in the stool and anemia. Often ulcer pain is misinterpreted as heartburn, indigestion or hunger. If you have a duodenal ulcer you may experience weight gain due to eating more to ease discomfort.

Also known as peptic ulcers, stomach ulcers are caused by the destruction of the gastric or intestinal mucosal lining of the stomach by hydrochloric acid, an acid normally present in the digestive juices of the stomach. Infection from the bacterium Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) is thought to play an important role in causing both gastric and duodenal ulcers. H. pylori may be transmitted from one person to another through contaminated food and water.

Get some relief naturally and inexpensive.

One of the best home remedies for an ulcer is to eat raw cabbage. Juicing the cabbage will make it easier to take and mixing it with carrots will make it better tasting heck, stick an apple in there too. Drink half a cup before each meal and at bed time, fresh is best. Your ulcer could  be fixed in a few weeks. You want to patch the lesions with Green foods and cabbage is the best by far.

* Eat at least three bananas a day. These contain an antibacterial substance that inhibits the growth of ulcer-causing H. pylori. Studies show that animals fed bananas have a thicker stomach wall and greater mucus production in the stomach, which helps build a barrier between digestive acids and the lining of the stomach.
* Believe it or not but cayenne pepper is wonderful for healing ulcers as well as dulling the pain. Start with one-eighth teaspoon of cayenne pepper in a glass of water twice a day and work up to a quarter-teaspoon. You can also take cayenne capsules that you can get at the health food store. Take three a day immediately after meals.

* Slippery Elm bark (can also find in the health food stores) soothes the mucous membranes that line the stomach and duodenum. It is often taken in powdered form. Make a tea, take one teaspoon of powdered slippery elm bark and add to a cup of warm water three times a day.

* Colloidal silver helps kill the H. pylori bacteria and helps heal lesions.

* Raw honey soothes and reduces inflammation of the lining of the stomach.
* Garlic’s antibacterial properties can help fight against H. pylori. Take two small crushed cloves a day, you can mix this with whole organic lemons and it taste wonderful.

* Plums and other red and purple colored foods such as berries inhibit the growth of H. pylori.

* Coconut oil kills the bacteria that cause ulcers and gas, this can be taken by teaspoon everyday.

You may also want to try raw goats’ milk, barley water, aloe juice, propolis capsules, licorice root or marshmallow root.

Heal your ulcer, watch your weight regulate and regain your life energy back naturally!

Happy Healing!

I have been reading lately, about people out of work and struggling to make it. Then finding little articles on special people who do great things, like paying for a family’s dinner, helping with school supplies, or buying a car battery for a mother of three and also putting it in for her…

These little gifts of love and help go a long way, and the people who receive the gifts pass it on as well. We create a chain of love and hope that circles the earth…

This makes me smile!

Giving is LIVING!

We are celebrating both of our birthdays on this very special day, July 4th.

Our country is an amazing place, and of course everyone should be proud of where they come from (I hope so). We must remember, all of us share this wonderful amazing planet. Yes, there are rules and regulations, borders and boundaries so people don’t get hurt or hurt others. Lets keep in mind this 4th of July that we are no different than our brothers in Indonesia, Brazil or Africa, we just happened to be brought to our location via the stork who dropped us on our parents doorstep. This does not give any one rights to treat others less than, or that someone is better. I know this sentiment is felt in many lands, this attitude can only make for a great war hey?…In America we are privileged and we hope to stay this way, let us be humble with our freedom and help each other no matter where people are living.

For most of us on this planet we strive to love our families, our neighbors, our God and maybe to eat a good hot dog once in a while. Whether political, emotional or financial, issues, this is why dropopp.com was born, to help the communities of our world come together for one goal…allow everyone a chance to purchase important products without the exclusionary club pretense. Plus, giving your neighbor a hand up by helping knock down prices for those who may not be able to afford those expensive products.

Pray for peace and love for all of our planet…Love covers a multitude of sins and so does mustard!

Screen shot 2013-06-20 at 13.17.48Did you know that mustard is an anti-depressant?

Yep, the mustard seed is very small, yet powerful and in the Bach Flower remedies it is used in helping lift depression. Flowers, herbs, and natural remedies can be as powerful if not better (without side effects) than the conventional drugs the medical doctors use. Next time try a little extra mustard on that hot dog when your feelin’ blue, then notice that warm happy feeling.
